Nip/Tuck: Golden Ratio Terms and Conditions

  1. By submitting a photograph (the "Image") to the Nip Tuck: Golden Ratio Facebook Application (the "Application") the users will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and be bound by them.
  2. The Application allows users to upload their Image to the website; www.facebook.com (the "Website") in order to calculate their attractiveness. Each image will be assigned a numerical score based on a mathematical formula (the "Golden Ratio").
  3. The only method of entry will be online via the Website and entries will only be valid where the confirmation screen is displayed.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to resize, rotate and crop all Images for the purpose of calculating the users Golden Ratio.
  5. Users hereby warrant that they are the sole owner of the Image submitted to the Application or in instances where they are not; that the actual owner of the Image has agreed to allow it to be submitted to the Promoter.
  6. Users grant the Promoter an irrevocable licence to use any Image, submitted to the Application, in perpetuity, throughout the world in any media and howsoever it may choose.
  7. The users Image may be formatted and cached by the Website for use in the mini-feed, news feed and profile page.
  8. The Promoter warrants that all Images submitted by the users are not shared with any third party, however they may be stored on the website www.niptuckgoldenratio.co.uk.
  9. To remove an Image from www.niptuckgoldenratio.co.uk, please send an email to contests@fxuk.com
  10. The Promotion is only available on line via the Website and is only open to users who are over the age of 18 years.
  11. This Promotion is NOT open to employees of the Promoter and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries.
  12. The Promotion will run on the Website from 5pm (GMT) March 12th 2008 until 12pm 12th June 2008 (inclusive)
  13. Illegible, incomplete or late registrations and entries will be disqualified.
  14. Promoter is entitled to terminate or modify the competition or to modify these rules prior to the closing date by prior notice
  15. The laws of England and Wales govern these terms and conditions

FX Beauty Parade Terms and Conditions

  1. Users of the Application are invited to take part in the FX Beauty Parade (the "Parade"). The Parade allows all users to see where they rank, according to their Golden Ratio, compared with the other users who submit Images to the Parade.
  2. BY taking part in the Parade users hereby warrant that they are the sole owner of the Images submitted to the Parade or in instances where they are not; that the actual owner of the Image has agreed to allow it to be submitted to the Promoter
  3. By taking part in the Parade the users grant the Promoter an irrevocable licence to use any Image submitted to the Parade, in perpetuity, throughout the world in any media and howsoever it may choose
  4. By taking part in the Parade, users agree that their name or likeness may be used by the Promoter without compensation, for promotional purposes.
  5. Upon entering the Parade the users Image will be displayed on the website www.fxuk.com/beautyparade from 12 March 2008 until 12 June 2008.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to resize, rotate and crop all Images for the purpose of calculating the users Golden Ratio.

  8. The Promotion is only available on line via the Website and is only open to users who are over the age of 18 years.
  9. This Promotion is NOT open to employees of the Promoter and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries.
  10. Illegible, incomplete or late registrations and entries will be disqualified.
  11. No subscription to FX or other purchase is necessary for entry to the competition.
  12. Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions will disqualify any user from taking part in the Promotion and the Promoter retains the right to refuse entrants the right to enter if these terms and conditions are being broken.
